PRACTICE JOURNEY
I have been practising since the age of 20. What began in the world of beauty and wellness has deepened, year by year, into something more essential: learning to read the body in front of me, moment by moment, and synchronise with what it needs rather than applying a fixed method to every person.
HOSPITAL WORK
For more than 12 years I have worked inside Basel's university hospitals — the USB and the children hospital UKBB — as part of the holistic care teams supporting patients in oncology wards.
Most of the women I accompany there are navigating gynaecological cancers. I am present with them through chemotherapy sessions, through the days when the body feels least like itself, through recovery. I help manage what treatment asks of the body — the nausea, the fatigue, the peripheral neuropathy, the lymphoedema, the anxiety of the infusion room.
One thing I do that people rarely expect: vein stabilisation during chemotherapy. When a patient's veins are difficult to find — fragile, collapsed, hard to access — I use biomagnetism and energy work to help prepare and stabilise the circulatory system before the infusion begins. I have seen what this does for women who dread the needle. It gives them something to stand on.

UKBB CHILDREN
At the UKBB, I work with children facing serious illness — adapting every session entirely to what a small body needs and what a young person can receive. This work has taught me more about presence than any training I have completed.

USB (Basel University Hospital) · UKBB (Basel University Children's Hospital) · Via ShalvaI am a co-author of a peer-reviewed article on integrative oncology, published in Onkologiepflege / Soins en Oncologie / Cure Oncologiche — the Swiss journal of oncology nursing — in 2026. The article documents the integrative oncology programme at the University Hospital Basel that I am part of, alongside consultant physicians and oncology specialists.
I am also a member of the interprofessional team at Via Shalva — a non-profit association based in Basel, founded in 2025 under Professor Dr. Viola Heinzelmann-Schwarz, Head of the Women's and Breast Clinic at the University Hospital Basel.
Via Shalva offers a seven-day integrative oncology retreat for women with breast and gynaecological cancer histories, developed in collaboration with the USB. Each retreat brings together medical consultations, movement, yoga and mindfulness, hypnosis, psycho-oncological support, physical treatments, acupuncture, and time in nature — within an evidence-based, interprofessional framework.
The programme aims to provide scientific evidence of stress reduction and improvement in quality of life.

PRIVATE PRACTICE
In my own practice at Die Oase, I do not offer the same session twice. Before every treatment, I take time to understand where you are — physically, emotionally, energetically. The oils I use are my own organic creations, blended specifically for you and for this session.
If you are a woman navigating illness, exhaustion, or simply the weight of a life that has been asking too much of you ...or if you are someone else entirely — a person at any stage...
THIS SPACE IS FOR YOU

I AM A HOLISTIC THERAPIST
Before any diploma, there were two grandmothers: one a healer in Ukraine, one who loved giving me massages when I was a child. I don't describe this work as a career choice. I describe it as something I have always been walking toward — a path I feel I was born for, hand in hand with whoever needs it, until my last breath.

WHAT ANCHORS EVERYTHING I DO

Holistic and traditional medicine belong hand in hand. I work alongside the medical team, never instead of it.

VIA SHALVA
I am also a partner in Via Shalva — a programme working closely with medical teams to demonstrate that holistic care has a real, measurable impact on cancer patients' lives. Via Shalva is a non-profit association based in Basel that brings together medical specialists and holistic practitioners to offer a seven-day integrative oncology retreat for women with breast and gynaecological cancer histories — developed in collaboration with the University Hospital Basel.
